I have the 07 420 with a 1500lb warn on it. The dealer told me they had to crack the top of the winch and spin it 90 degrees to get it installed. So now the release/engage lever is facing up towards the headlight. They also told me that Honda recommends only going with the 1500 on the 420's as people were chaining the bike up to a tree or something stationary and actually stretching the frame with anything bigger than the 1500....just my .02...
