No! Completely different...
The Foreman is 475cc and the Rubicon is 499cc. The difference isn't just in displacement. For beginners, the Rubicon is water cooled and the Foreman is air/oil cooled......

The Rubicon also has 4 valves and the Foreman 2.
Of course the transmissions are vastly different, too.
Seat of the pants wise, power feels pretty similar between the two.
If you are looking for a repair manual for the 500 Foreman you may have to go with the Honda one. The 500 Foreman came out in 2005, and it usually takes the aftermarket manuals a while to publish...
