rancher 05 AT angle sensor ?
#1
I got a good deal on a rancher 05 AT afew months ago. I really like it and have had no problems with it. After reading a few honda forums i see that there is some issues with the angle sensor. Is this a major or minor fix? I would not want to be stranded on the trail and i do not have deep pockets for repairs.

No, the angle sensor on the 400at is not an issue as it is on the 350 ranchers. totally different design. This angle sensor has a control effect on the transmission way differently on the 400at than the 350 rancher

i got an 06 rancher400at and i love it, but yea i have had to replace to angle sensor 3 times, it dont tend to like the water too much, jus depends on how much your ride and where ya ride at, its $86 for a new sensor simple to change but a lil tricky to reset the computer on the bike after installing
