I had an 87 350 for 18years, and it was indeed a great bike for its time. But new
technology made it obsolete for my kind of use. I still miss it at time though. Sold it to a rancher for $1800, and he was elated to have a 350 again. Said it was the worst mistake he ever made when he traded his original in for 300 4X4.

Anyway, on the starting problem I am not sure you are aware of this but those old 350 were famous for killing sparkplugs. I mean out of now where the engine would not start and no matter what you did nothing helped but to put in a new spark plug. I had it happen to me about 4 time over the years I owned mine. Needless to say I never took it out without a spare plug.

Good luck. Let me know if it starts.

Thank you very much for your attention. I went home yesterday and bought a new spark. I tried and still did not work. I got a compresion test and it reads abouot 90 psi. Is theat good compression? and if not what could be the probem?

Bummer, I though the plug might be the answer. I would look for an ignition problem if you got no spark. A carb problem if no gas is getting into the head.

I have to ask - the kill switch is on correct!
