How much will differ tires help in mud???
#1
I have a two wheel drive atv with factory tires. I don't know how to describe them but, they are typcial general purpose tires. My question is this. I like to run in the mud and know 4x4 is tremendously better but is not in my budget. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone has experience with a different style tire that will make a material difference in the mud, even with my two wheel drive vehicle.
thanks

Yes what kind of atv do you own? A friend of mine has a recon with maxis sur-trax and they do really good in mud! You cant stop them in any amount of the thick stuff! They have also lasted a long time considering he has to ride about ten miles on the road every time he goes riding to get to the riding area.Oh and he goes riding every night so he has put some major miles on thpse tires and they still do great in the mud. Hope i could be of some assistance.
