Default 86 TRX 350 Engine Removal

I recently picked up a 86 TRX 350, they said it just needed a valve and piston. When we went to turn it over with the kick starter the lower end is bound. I have everything on the motor unhooked to take it out. However I can not figure out how to seperate the drive shaft assembley from the motor to be able to lift the motor out. Does anyone have insight to the trick to free the motor?

Also does anyone know of or have a service manual for this online that I could download?

There is a snap ring in the middle of the drive shaft that must be removed then it slides right out. I usually take the two bolts out of the front that holds it to the engine then slide it forward enough to get snap ring pliers in to spread the snap ring on the collar in the middle.

are you sure the piston isn't hitting the "valve that needs replaced", therefore keeping the motor from turning over? anyways can't help on the drive shaft removal sorry.
