The bad news is I didn't start either quad (my brother and me, both honda's) for a couple months and there was no sta-bil fuel used. When we went to go use them, they started right up, ran for about 20 seconds, then died. Now all they do is turn over and thats it. Runs if you keep pressing the primer every few seconds or if you use starter fuel.
I took apart the carb and replaced the pilot jet on mine as it was clogged, put it back together, but no luck. Engine turns over but never starts, will run if I keep spraying starter liquid into it, obviously a fuel problem just not sure where to look. Jets look clean, not sure how to tell if needle is stuck, seems fine to me.
I'm sure if I figure it out on one it must be the same thing on my bros.

Is the air box lid on while youre trying to start? It will be way too lean, if the cover is removed.

It isn't getting gas for whatever reason.
With the gas on, if you open the drain at the bottom of the carb, do you get a good steady stream of gas out the drain tube?
If not, then I'd look at the screen in the tank, the petcock, and the float valve and related passages.
If you do get a good stream of gas, you know that at least fuel is making it as far as the float bowl, and that one of the passages is still clogged (most likely the pilot/idle passages).
When you took the carb apart, did you spray carb cleaner through all the passages, followed by compressed air? Did you pull the pilot screw (count the turns to lightly seat it first, so you can put it back where it was) and spray out it's passage? Be sure you also spray out the bypass hole in the side of the throat of the carb...
Next time when you park the machine for a while, shut the fuel off and either run the machine until it runs the float bowl out of gas, or open the float drain. Gas goes stale fastest in small quantities exposed to air, like in the float bowl. If you leave the gas on, the lighter elements in gas evaporate first, and are replaced by more gas if the valve is left on... Eventually you end up with a high concentration of the varnish-like heavier elements of gas in the float bowl.
If it's been more than a couple months, the gas in the tank could also be iffy...

Clean the carbs again...it's running on SF...so most certainly a fuel delivery issue...might be well worth to get a rebuild kit & replace all the jets...but passages need to be cleaned...most forget about the fuel inlet line to the bowl...shoot carb cleaner in there and ensure it shoots out the bowl...
Most certainly replace the fuel...the tanks are vented and the fuel will go bad...I can tell just by the smell...
