Default Help!!! 400ex rear brakes won't tighten

Ok so i replaced the rear brake pads but now I can't seem to get any pressure out of the pedal. I pumped the pedal then released the bleeder valve and retightened. I have done this repeatedly for quite some time now. any suggestions?

Welcome to the forums first of all. I would first check to make sure you have enough brake fuild in the reservior for the rear caliper and after you pump up the foot pedal have someone hold it down and loosen the bleeder screw and release the air, then close the bleeder and pump up the brakes and continue to do so. After you keep doing this make sure that there is enough fluid in the reservior so you don't suck air in the lines which will put you back at square one again. This should do it if everything in the hydraulic line is working properly and there are no leaks. If this doesnt do the trick just respond and I will get back to you.
