Default Squeeling noise in Rancher

Yesterday while driving my 07 Rancher 420fm I noticed a squeeling noise comming from the front end. It almost sounds like the squeeling noise that come from a vehicle with a bad belt or pulley. But it isn't all that loud. It only happends in 2nd and 3rd, but mostly second. I thought I would mention it here to see if anyone heard of this before I get into a big panic. The machine seemed to be running perfectally with no issues though. The noise isn't all that loud but I never heard it there before. Could it be just mud or something?

This isn't coming from the engine, is it???

Could be a brake pad rubbing.

I will second this. Jack it up and turn the front tires. Mine did the exact same thing(2007 4x4) and it turns out the front right pad was dragging a bit. Nothing to really worry about, just take it apart and clean it up, or replace the pad as needed.

Oh I have a lot of km's on it. I been in the woods, trails, snow and a bit of mud. I'll take the tires off and look at it. I'm gearing up for a fishing trip so I'll have to try it when I get home. I never saw anything stuck in there. I never even thought of looking at the brakes so thanks everyone for the help. Hopefully thats the problem
