Odd, because you have a 07 which should have the new improved angle sensor. I had trouble with my 450 foreman ES which tuned out to be just dirty fuse connections under the seat.

I had my Rancher in for the 20 hour service and asked the owner about the angle sensor and to point them out incase I had a problem (after reading about them online in various forums).

He stated the samething, the earlier ones were made in China and caused all kinds of problems, most were recalled. 07 models are redesigned and made in Japan and they have been much more relieable.

I have an 07 Foreman and an 08 Rancher, both of which are ES models and have had no problems whatsoever with either.

I too had problems with the ES just last week(not even to my 20 hour service). I was getting a code 2. Pulled the fender off(didn't want to drive the hour and a half to the dealer again(was already there once for the same problem) for warranty work....and i have the honda manual for my wheeler). found water in the handlebar wiring harness(14P green connector) near the ECM. Cleaned it and added some dielectric grease. we'll see what happens.

This system has had problems from day one, and I have been saying the same thing since day one! I can't figure out why everybody wants to give Honda a free ride on this one???? The magazines should be pointing the problems out, and we certainly have seen enough problem posts over the years in here that any unbelievers have to have their head stuck in the sand!
