Owners who own Foreman 500?
i own a 2008 foreman 500 w/ power steering and i must say i love it.
First of all it is a very trusty machine and is a great work horse. great engine braking, sporty ride, lots of torque and love the power steering. it also has all the power you need tops out at 55mph and starts every time. i had great luck with my 2003 foreman and when they came out with the newer foreman i figured why not give it a try.
the one thing i do wish it had is a higher hitch mount but other than that its great.

Owners who own Foreman 500?
I own a Foreman 450, and if I were buying a new bike it would be a Foreman 500s maybe with power steering but probably not.
WHat I like about it is its great looks and simplicity. Here in NL, when your out on the trails, you are often a VERY long way away from the nearest road to get towed out to, and very far away from a dealer to do repairs. My currnent bike is a 1998 and it has NEVER let me down in 10 years, only with regular maintenance. IF something does break the bike is very serviceable in the field since its simple. No electronic bull that can fail and leave you stuck. The only thing I dont like about the Foreman 500 is the electronic 2wd to 4wd shifter, I'd rather a mechanical set up like my WARN 424. On my current bike I'm running a Spool style front locker which works great and is worth the effort for where I ride, but if money were no object I'd install a Detroit Locker the day I picked up a new bike. Then I'd have the perfect bike for me. Dependable, respectable power, manual shift, proven technology, disc brakes, able to tow, and a respectable ride.

Well, the thing is stone axe simple and reliable, fun to ride, and priced reasonably.
It does have good engine braking, handles well, and slides well. Ride is good for a solid rear axle machine (but can't hold a candle to the Rincon), and power is adequate.
IMHO it is comfortable ergo wise, and also a good looking machine.
