I've always had the first service done at the dealer. It solves any problems where warranty may be needed, plus the valves are properly adjusted, and all the cables should be adjusted back to factory spec at this time (as new cables always stretch) plus they should be checking over every nut and bolt to make sure eveythign is OK.
If you have a problem and didnt have the service done there, you have less of a leg to stand on then if you bring it in. After this, I do ALL my own service, maintenance and reparirs, if you plan to do this, pick up a good shop manual.

10 hours is to early for the first valve adjustment. Owner's manual says 20 hours, and that is when the engine is totally broken in. This adjustment is very important however, so if you can't do it yourself, by all means pay someone who is experienced to do it!
Besides that, you can probably do the rest yourself:
Personally, I wouldn't have waited any 10 hours to do the first oil/filter change. I always do it at 1 hour to get any metal shavings or clutch debris out of there right away. Also, I like to switch to a break-in oil that has a monster additive package....Maxima Premium. After break-in, I swich to Redline ester synthetic.
Also, adjust the clutch at 20 hours.
