to baffle or not to baffle

Default to baffle or not to baffle

i took the baffle out of my trx450r but a friend told me that it could damage the valves that way. so know i'm wondering if i should put it back in.

Default to baffle or not to baffle

if you popped the baffle out you might need to rejet, wont hurt the valves. but you will burn the motor up.

To clarify, you will burn the motor up IF you need to rejet and do not. When pulling the spark arrestor out, you allow more air flow and need more gas flow to compensate. If it starts backfiring stop riding it immediately until you can rejet. Other than that it will not hurt anything.

IT DOESN'T REALLY BACK FIRE EXCEPT FOR WHEN I GO TO START IT. IT WILL SOMETIMES GIVE A QUICK POP. BUT VERY RARELY.
