Dynojet on Rancher

Has anyone installed a Dynojet kit on their Rancher (or any quad) and left the factory exhaust on. Did it still give a boost in power?

A jet kit is used to either lean out or richen your carb. This is not going to be neccessary(sp) unless you install a less restrictive filter or a less restrictive muffler.
