I am running 26" ITP mud lites on my Rubicon, very bumpy on pavment, just jump over 5mph real fast and you dont notice it. But theres lots of Clay and sand round here in Texas, and the mud lites self clean really well, I am running mine with the tread direction backwards, you get incredable traction that way, and a little better "Paddle" action when floating.

The XTR's are definatly smoother riding then the regular mud lites or the XL's, which are a very very common tire around here.

I am looking at the Maxxis M961 Mud Bug tires. I might go 27x8x12 in the front and 27x10x12 in back. Has anyone heard good/bad things about the mud bugs?

Great Tire, my freind had them on his Sportsman 500. Not the smoothest at slow speed on hard surface, but the traction in mud and soft surfaces was exceptional.

I keep looking at tires and I see that some are only for the front and some are for both rear and front. What makes them so they can only be used in one place? The mud bugs say I can't have a 27x10x12 tire on the rear?
