I had a '97 Recon, what a total blast to play on...four wheel drifts on logging roads, jumps, wheeliess...you have great control on those quads...in fact I am buying another one to go with the Rancher, just for family and friends.

 

So dryfly, how are you liking the new Rancher?

 

I'm 5'10" a little over 200 pounds and love my Recon. It's a lot of fun to play around on and has done everything I've asked it to, including hauling me and a 200+ pound deer out of a very muddy wheat field. A friend borrowed it and took it to Colorado elk hunting last fall. The guys he was with were all on 4x4 quads and the Recon was able to go anywhere they could go, it slipped and slid sometimes on the snow and ice but always made it. And my friend is not an experienced rider.

Mine is a green '99 model.
