i have a 300 fw and was advised no biger than 26's so 25's should be no problem
..I have the warren 424 kit so i can go from 4x4 to 2x4 ..turns quicker in 2x4 mode...there expensive though ..list for 400.00 most places ,i got mine from rockymt atv mc..for 320.00 ish
dennis kirk has nice lift parts 1-1/2"lift kit for 90.00 ish and they have replacment springs that increse payload and provide another 1" of lift there 60.00 for the fronts and 30.00 for the rear

anyone have any mods done to their rancher?</end quote></div>
No, I'm looking around for some. I have found pipes, but I don't want to make it any louder. They have modules you plug into your fuel injection system some where that are suppose to give you more power. I would like to talk to someone who has done it before i spend the money on them.

OMG ! ! ! you have to keep the rear 2 tires 2 inches wider than the fronts or you'll lost your great Handling. .
On my Rubicon i went from 25x8-12 to 27x10-12 on front.
and went from 25x10-12 to 27x12-12 on rear worked like a charm handles like a caddy tho rides like a duece ! ! !
2ply ta 6ply is what stiffened the ride the 10's and 12's stablized it machine drives great. . .
so 8's n 10's/9's n 11's/10's n 12's for widths ! make sure all 4 are of the same highth or you'll break more parts then the machine is worth in second's. . .
thats why with my 4x4s n 6x6s n 6x4s ECT ! i try to replace my tires in full set's i'd rather have 4 6 8 or 10 matched bald tires then 4 6 8 10 mismatched new tires. . .

Hmm ! i went with the Kenda Killers as well on your machine i would sugest getting some 12inch wheels for the rear. . .
the tires i would use are the kenda killers aka executioners 26x10-12 n 26x12-12 it'll be the best it can be tho i think with out a lift as the kendas run smaller you could turn the same tires i did the 27x10-12's and 27x12-12's. . .

So I finally got my Executioners via Fed Ex today. I havent installed them yet, but they look 10 times meaner than stock! the ITP steel wheels actually dont look that bad. i would have liked to get 26" or 27" tires BUT i wasnt sure i had enough motor to pull them. i do ride double with my girlfriend. i know thats very TABU.... eventually i would like to get a 2" lift, and i know i dont need it. but you dont usually do mods because you need them do you??? i usually do them because I WANT more. I did get 25x8x12 FRONTS 25X10X12' rears tires all around before i had a TYPO and said 24's mixed with 25's. i know you CANNOT mix front and rear like that unless the machine requires that. i would have installed the wheels/tires today but i was hunting in the 20 degree weather... i will post my ride review when i get time to install them and ride them. unfortunately its so cold out now that all the mud is frozen!!!

So today i mustered up enough ambition to install my wheels/tires in 20 degree weather. didnt take long at all with a jack and an impact gun. my initial thoughts of seeing the wheel/ tire combo off the machine was that i didnt really care for the way the wheels look in general. but they were cheap in comparison. the tires look amazing compared to stock. these wheels/tires make this machine look MEAN. so i fired her up. remind you the ground here is frozen... the ride is much harsher than stock. all the mud and soft stuff is gone for the meantime until warmer weather. the quad doesnt feel like a "clunker" by any means. i didnt check the tire pressure on these tires but im sure its a bit higher than need be. i will post the mud or snow capabilities as soon as it warms up, or snows...
