ES Shifting Problem
Hello All,
I know you guys beat this one to the ground but i need a little advice.
I have a 1998 formen 4x4 i got off a guy. Elec.Shifter dose not work..The indicator --- 3 dashes.......I unpluged the moter and jumped it with 12 volts off a battery and it shifts...When i unplug the 4 wire harnes off the NEC Home Electroinc the shifter indicator works it shows NUTREL and when i shift it shows the gear in am in..So moter and angel switch O.K I think.
So with that i checked all fuses and connections and hit them with contact cleaner...Still no power to the shifter buttons...Doing this blind.
Read and printed everythig i can find in this sight..
I think i covered everythig with out a manual...4 days away.
Any help..
Thanks

That sounds like a Canadian price ... Those are hard to track down without using the tools to fool the ECU ...
