Default cutting out on a recon

on my recon..
one time i got done mud bogging and i forgot to put the overflow tube up so it cutout/bogged..
like i can go real slow and not get rpms high and it wont bog but higher rps it cuts out?
next time i did it i pulled it up and it was fine..

came home gave it a nice bath front rack to back rack.. and it would cutout/bog..

BUT BUT if i pull the choke up all the way its fine? as in it will run GREAT
its done this before and cant figure out wat the problem is??
do i need to greese up the wires and stuff or wat?

o and i finally made it across the mud hole that at one point had 1ft deep trenches from a truck

sounds kinda like you have a carb problem. mabe an electrical. i would clean out your carb reaal well and make sure you jets are clean. dont forget your pilot jet! its the small brass skrew outside the bowl, twords the engine. remove clean and reinstall. its setting is OUT 2 and 5/8 turns ish.

if your pilot jet is cloged, people use the choke as a make shift pilot. and it will run fine with the choke on, thats what make me think its your pilot.

hope this helps

yes, just a great big can of carb cleaner! if you dont have to dont remove any of the jets inside the bowl, just remove n clean the pilot.

after you hose it down good, look at the holes of the jets and make sure there is no crap in there

good luck!

Find the fuel filter and replace it. . .

It sounds like a pluged filter as with the choke on your building up some pressure forcing the fuel threw it. . .

Clean the carb and change the fuel filter do the filter first . . .
1. fuel filter test run it.

2. clean out the carb test run it.

post the out come of those 2 thing's. . .
