OK I have a 2001Fourtrax3504x4 manual.

I want to get a good mud/dirt/gravel/road/snow tire. Ive decided on the blackwater but I am wondering. the original tire sizes are
Tires
Front: 24 x 8-12
Rear: 24 x 9-11
I was wondering, if I like a Blackwater 26x12.00x12 would that be too big and require a new rim/lifter kit. or do they come with rims? what tire size would you recommend. ?

you will definitely have to get a new rim with that tire. You will also loose some power going up to the 26". You may want to consider mud runners or mud bugs. They can go on your stock rims.

I think I understand what you're asking. No, the tire size doesn't have to be exactly like your stock tires. You see, the first number is tire height, the second number is tire width, and the third number is the rim size. So, if you bought a tire that was 26x12x11, the tire is 26" tall, 12" wide, and fits an 11" rim. Hope that clears it up.

Probably about 25x10x11 on the rear. That won't require a new rim. I would recommend either the Carlisle Trailwolf or ITP Spider Trak. They both perform well in mud, snow, and on hard pack. They wouldn't require any lift kit either. Check them out on their webpages.
