I need some advice and help?

I have a 1999 450 foreman es that stalled the other day while I was plowing snow.

The background is this. 2 times before while plowing after working it for about 45 min or so, it would try to stall when I pushed into a pile. I gave it more gas then put it in reverse and it was fine.

This last time I had been plowing for about 45 min. when I noticed a small rattle, then it slowly lost power and stalled 5 min later.

It has spark, and it turns over just fine but is won't catch and crank over to start?
The pull rope is fine so it is not locked up? Any suggestioons?

some times the starteb brushes/gears can catch and grind causing a still. your earlier problems muggest mabe a valve adjust,ent is needed.

Would the valves being out of tune stall it? I'm guessing it really messes with the fuel input?

iv never seen an ATV stop because the valves where out of alignment, but if they are way off you wont be able to start it agean

I'll look into it and let you know what I find. i appreciate you help. Anyother suggestions? I am planning on a good carb job too.

What might have caused the stall?
