Default Honda 91 300 4 trax oil leak

I've got a 91 honda 4 trax that has developed an oil leak between the propellor shaft and the front differential. I'm wondering if anyone knows if I can remove the propellor shaft without pulling the front differential to replace the oil seal. If I have to pull the diferential can the oil seal be replaced without dismantling the differential.
Any help will br greatly appreciated
Thanks Mike

you should be able to remove the drive shaft without takeing the front diff out. if you have some problems with clerance you can loosen the bolts that hold the diff to the frame, giveing you play in the line.

I had to change the seal in my 91 300 it was about 5 years ago I no longer have the bike but from what I can remember we had to unbolt the differential so we could get the driveshaft out but you can replace the seal pretty easily.

ive had front seal probs in my 300 fw fourtrax ..... juist un bolt the front diff and slide it foward enough to remove the drive shaft ....then use pliers or a seal removal tool to remove the seal ..and be carfull when you press the new seal in as not to damage it ... I used a block of wood and a small hammer to tapp the seal in slowly...(using the block of wood as a coushion between the new seal and hammer)
.
before you reinsert the drive shaft ..put a little honda diff lube on your finger and rub it inside the seal ,,and clean up the drive shaft real good
