Honda rancher 350 brakes

Try rolling that thing forward or reverse while in neutral, it should move pretty easily.
Heres a couple of ideas though.
If it dont roll easily, use the brake adjusters to loosen the brakes, they are in there behind the little red plug that is on the wheels. You will have to roll the fourwheeler til you can see what looks kinda like a sprocket inside there that can be turned with a screwdriver. Kinda hard for me to explain but you will see what im talking about.
Second, its alot easier and you can get more pull if you leave the tires on the hubs, and just remove the axle nut from the middle. That gives you something alot bigger to grab onto.
good luck

hmm, ill try it with leaving the tires on the hub, that sounds like a good idea. just to clear things up, when i said they cant budge, i meant taking them off, they spin very freely, just trying to do the wheel bearings.

However, when I got the drum off I noticed their were two adjusters. My question is when I put the new brakes on, do I need to adjust both adjusters and if so, how tight?

Very old post, but you do need to adjust both adjusters. They are almost always seized and need removal, freeing up and greasing when you have the drum off. I always adjust until the adjuster won't turn, then back off until the drum is free to rotate, perhaps a little drag. This is easiest with all four wheels off the ground on a 4WD 350.
