400ex vs raptor

i dont think that the raptor is waht it was said to be. i mean my friends beats my 400ex when wound out but in short drag races i can beat him him also i think its to tall and not wide enough for anykind of fast woods riding
does anyone else feel the same

If you dont like the RAPTOR dont look at it. Because the tail light will hurt your EYES!lmao

Raptors are fast for stock. Anyone denies this is a liar. It takes mods to beat a Raptor or a DS650. With having the mods it is sooooo...fun to win. Now what????

i've been on both to decide which to buy (approx 2-3 hours on each.) No question about the raptor's speed, but for my riding style the 400ex is a much better 'total package'.

There's a huge difference between lots of power and usable power.

They are two differant styles of bikes. The 400EX is a Cadilac and the Raptor is like a Corvette!!
It all depends on what you like. I prefer my Raptor, but if you put a 440 on the EX it is all the rider ina drag race.

I am thinking that the 400ex is a Saleen Mustang and the Raptor is a Dodge Viper would be a closer analogy. The DS650 is a Cadillac STS.

You guy's also have to worry about the Scrambler 400 2X4's and the Sport 400L's. For what you have to pay for a 400ex and a Raptor, it leaves a lot of cash for mods.
If you only count the HP and clutch mods, the money that I've spent including purchasing my Scrambler is less than MSRP on a 400ex... And I have reverse too, I don't have to get off the quad and push... Talk about Bang for the Buck. Just how much cash have you dropped on your ex's to get them to run good? By the time you put a pipe on yours, I'll have paid for Works Struts... It's not about how much you spend, it's what you get for your money.
