I'd Trade my 300ex for one. BUT... id wait tell the second year so they work out the flaws

 

Anyone can own a 400,or any other factory machine. It's not all about performance only. My 250X with 400 plastic and a 650 engine would be my own creation,my machine. Don't think I would have any problem "torkin" up those big hills at Hatfield & McCoy with a 650 in the chassis,Dan

 

I'm thinking on buying a 400EX. I'm also considering the DS650 because of the big engine, (though i don't know what's the diference in x-country between the two)
One thing is certain, if honda did sell this 650, and the engine diference does have an edge over the 400, it would clear my doubts. Honda all the way

By the way, i've riden XR's most of my life. They are the most dependable and powerful engines you can find. Not one ounce in them is junk. Au contraire. (or whatever)

 

emmmmmm,,,,na, the 650 motors are old Tec and heavy.

But if a 500cc twin EFI'ed came along, would upgrade in a minute.
