I know this guy I work with who has an 87 250R that he kept in his heated basement since it was new.He has had it for 14 years.I think the gas is original,I know that it was ridden off his truck and into his garage, and he says it has been there since because he got hurt at work that week and never had a chance to ride it.He asked me to see if I can get someone to buy it for $1500 or best offer. Are these thing worth that much being that it is old?Does anyone know where I can sell it?Thanks

Paul, I will buy it and give you $$ just for giving me the info on it! I am serious I have been looking for an R but people are crazy wanting $3000 for a 15 year old quad and I want one as close to original as possible. My buddy just bought one all original for $1200 and I'm looking for one just as original. I will pay $1500 for it and then give you some $$$ just for getting me in contact with who ever owns it (I am serious and honest) I live in Pa and I will come get it or pay to have it shipped so please get back to me asap and let me know because I want to get one asap and this sounds like what I've been looking for and you will make some $$$ just for hooking us up.
Thanks alot,
You can e-mail me at xtreme165@hotmail.com

I bought my 86 back in 94 for $1900 in good condition. Needed tires/wheels, but was ridable. I have since added much to it. Now worth over $3500.
I got my wife's 87 in 97 for $2800 in beautiful condition and have only added a new silencer to it. Now worth over $4000.
My friend just bought an 87 for $3500. Fair condition, needed plastic, wheels/tires, pipe.
Another friend just bought an 86 for $3000. Fair to good condition, needed pipe/silencer, wheels/tires.
