Honda utility question
#2
Tried to find you a cutaway of a Honda ute engine, but couldn't find one offhand. They are OHV engines, but the valvetrain is off to the side and the valves are actuated by short stubby pushrods. This keeps the engine height lower than the cookie cutter OHC engines that are found on other machines, for a lower seat height, lower center of gravity, and better cornering stability. Pushrods favor log end power rather than top end rev, and that is what utilities are all about anyway!
