quick carb question
#1
i was in the process of rejetting my 300ex carb when i found that my float needle was not letting fuel in when i placed the bowl back on the carb. there is no float adjustmant, and the float itself wound not drop down far enough to allow any fuel in with the bowl on.....what gives? this problem only occurred when i took the carb off to rejet, and did not take the bown off the first time (access plug instead).
when i got further in to the carb the float needle rubber itself was fine, and the passage clear. but when i put the float together and blow threw the fuel hose, the float has to be WAY further down than it can be with the bowl on, in order to pass air/fuel threw it.
im hoping its just the float?
