Got the Rancher at lunch today!

Sorry for the pointless post, but I am having a tough time working while my glistening new Rancher sits in my garage, beckoning me.
Just picked it up ten minutes ago...gonna be a late night tonight.
Recall work scheduled for two weeks out, so I picked it up to have some fun until the parts get in...what a gorgeous bike.

Enjoy it for now. Soon it will have scratches & scuff marks, maybe a dent or two! Man I love this sport!

Enjoy your new ride. It tough having to work while that NEW RAncher just sits there.
If it was me I might have to be sick.

Let me get this straight. You just spent 5-6000 bucks on a quad, knowing it had a recall on it, took it home, knowing it hadn't been fixed yet, and you're returning it in a couple of weeks to be fixed? I thought all of "on hand product had to be fixed" before it was sold

Minor recall issues are not of great concern as my riding prior to the proper "fixes" will be mainly casual trail rides, nothing too aggressive.
They do not have the parts in yet to fix it, why wait when I can enjoy mild cruises at low speeds. Just a minor impulsive reaction to actually getting what I wanted, sooner than expected.

Thanks Bob, I shall enjoy... Hey you live in Rochester? How's old Cabletron? I worked for them back when the "good ole boys" worked there, the Bob and Craig show. Favorite place was Chauncy Creek Lobster Pier.

DryFly:
By your handle I would assume ( i hate to assume anything) that you are a fly fisherman. True? If so, I assume (there i go again) you will be using the new toy to get to some "special" holes. Good luck and enjoy your new toy.
"May your lines be tight, skies blue and the rivers/lakes full of fish....shmoky

You got it... I am a Green Drake bigot and topwater fly fisher...that Rancher will get me to places up higher on the river where the "cutthroat stashes" live. And I can leave from the garage to take the short cut over the mountain to get to the river, rather than a 20 minute highway drive.

DryFly, I know Chauncy Creek lobster pier well, great place. I also fly fish, did you ever try Rapid River, or Middle dam in Maine? Those are my favorite places in these parts. Don't hear to much about Cabletron these days. I would like to apologise for my last post, but those ignorant people really get to me, especially when they reply to a post like this. Like I said have fun and good fishing.
