hey guys just wondering if anyone could help me out my friend busted the threads on his 300 ex. he didn't strip them it looks like the threads come out of the oil pan about a half inch and when he untightened it they busted off and i was wondering if i could just take a bigger tap to it and use a larger bolt but i don't know if that extra thread is to keep the bolt outta the oil pan for clearance of internal parts if anyone would have an idea it would help out a bunch
