I usually never make time when I do a warranty job I get paid by the hr where I work and not by flat rate so I can concentrate on getting the job done right. As far as what hondas procedure exactly I will read the bullitin and get back to you and even if it said to flip the atv up I still wouldnt do it that way. No need to change the filter.

I just took my rancher in for the A arm fix.And I peeked out back. And they had a strap arond my front rack. And had it hoisted up in the air.So the tires were still touching mother earth.I didn"t think much of it at the time. But now I hear of oil in the air cleaner I'm not to happy.I better check my air box. Thanks for the info.

Well I read the honda bulliten and I'm quit diss-appointed it does say to flip the atv up so it contradicts there service manual wich states to remove the oil before removing the clutch cover oh I cant wait for my visit to troy ohio next week so I can ask them what the hell they were thinking

Well guys after some of the stories I have heard about the recall for the shifter plate, I think I will wait a while. I got 4000 kilometers on mine and never had a shifting glitch yet, only had to rock the quad twice to get it to change gears. When I put the synthetic oil in the shifting was smooth as can be. In my opinion shifting under full throttle or pulling heavy loads and shifting hard caused the problems. With normal use and proper shifting I feel mine should be fine. Just my 2 cents.
