Help with Rancher Carb......
#1
ok i haved clean out gas tank and carb with carb cleaner. looks great. I set allsrews all the way down inside the carb, don't know if this right or wrong, and I adjust the pilot screw from outside to try to get it running righ(which hasnt happened since i took carb apart. It is running really lean. If I put my fingers over 3/4 of theair inlet box, runs like a charm. Only thing I have done differently was someone sugetested putting clear house on some line to make sure you see the gas running thru. From the tank to the carb i put the clear on and added a backup fuel filter. Seems like the gas should run fine from it, but could maybe the hose i have on there now is too big and not letting enough fuel to get to carb? TIA

Make sure you dont have a air leak on the intake boot. Spray some carb cleaner, not in but, around the carb and boot and see if it changes the way it runs. If it does you have a air leak causing it to run lean. It sounds like you dont have the air screw adjusted properly.

Yeah I got new bands to put on both sides of carb and boot. And I have NO idea where the air screw is. I would appreciate it if you could tell me.
TIA
