Default honda foreman 500 rev limiter

I could use some help, does anyone know how to disconnect the rev limiter on a 2006 honda foreman es 500 4x4.
And is it a bad idea, if so why?
In 2nd and 3rd it really sputters at higher rpm's 5th tops out at 56mph but has lots of power still.
I'm going from stock tires to 27x10-12 front 27x12-12 rear and thought it might help my power, Yes I know thinking is dangerous sometimes, Is this one of those times?

Personally, I wouldn't mess with it. The cam timing and engine design is generally set up to produce low end torque and mid end, so I don't think you would gain much by reving it higher (other than shortening the life of the engine).

Leave it,you do not want a OHV motor high reeving there just not meant for that. Plus you have the fastest Foreman I heard of my friends 500 would never get to 56mph unless going down hill,so just leave it.

This thing is made for low end grunt. If you want to go fast, get a sport quad!

Or a different Utility ATV. Plenty of Utility ATVs that can go crazy fast until a corner or bump shows up. A 500 Outlander cat hit 65 easily for example.

Thanks for your help.
You guys got me wrong, I don't care about going fast.
I was saying what it would do at present.
I've only had it a couple of weeks and rode it like twice.
I'm putting pretty big tires on it and wanted to not bog down in the middle of a hole I don't want to wade out of.
Thanks again, Can't wait for some snow.

See how it does with the tires, and if you decide you need more, I'd suggest starting with a cam.

well i've put the tires on.
It's a beast, Started off bad I put the rear tires on the wrong side.
I beat the hell out of the exhaust to stop it from rubbing.
Then went to check the air pressure surprise no valve stem.
Man did I feel stupid, swapped tires perfect fit.
runs 52mph now, Alot of low end power.
Have not put it in mud yet.
