Ok, so dont hate me for this blasphemous remark but I have decided on the 2007 400ex. I know yes they are two diferrent machines and I figure for the style of riding im gonna be doing the 400ex will be perfect. Plus 2 stroke means more maintenance and down time so for trail riding and riding with my wife the ex will be perfect. I know im sorry!!! But really I realized that I dont want something to work on like I did when I raced bikes, sure it was fun but since Im older I like maintenace free and friendly. I know there is still maintenace to be done but not as often or as deep. So i figure after a few years of it I will look at starting to upgrade the engine with the big bore kit if it gets to a point where it is under powered for me. I think I made the right desicion. Thanks for all the help!! Off to fix the warrior now!

That's respectable, the 400ex is a way better trail bike than the 250r, and you get reverse. That's why I'm trying to sell mine, it's just getting to be too loud, and too fast as my riding area is shrinking and turning into a new subdivision.
