Default Carb question

I have a 94 trx 300 and I am in need of a carb for it. I found one from a 350 that looks the same and was told it is except for the choke cable which can be swapped. My question is this: will the 350 carb pump too much gas into the 300 or will it be about the same?
Thanks

If you mean the 350 Rancher, yes, that carb will work fine a 300 and no adjusting is necessary to make it work on a 300.
Just bolt it on and use the Rancher S cable. Or you can use the Rancher ES cable if you make a mount for the pull ****.
Or,...your 300 choke cable may work with the plunger already there. I cant remember the year breakdowns we were discussing earlier in the week.

The older 350 Foreman carburetors and ATC350X carburetors will not work on a 300 without major changes being made. Not really worth fooling with.

The 89 350 is one of the Foremans I just mentioned.
If you plan to run that carburetor you are going to need ALOT of the parts from the 350 besides the carb, like the throttle assembly and the throttle cable,..among other things,..and ontop of all that, you would have to fabricate the ducts from both engines or make your own from scratch to attach it. And I doubt it would run without drastic tuning anyway. I would steer clear of that one. Just my .02

Now I'm lost...lol! The pics of this carb look the same as mine and the guy is telling me that it is the same and that he has gone the other way, using a 300 carb on a 350, so know I don't know what to do!
Thanks for your info.

Ok so I have found out that it is from a 300 not the 350. Its a VE90 carb which was on the 91-93 and mine is a VE91 which was on 94-95. Other than the number it looks excatly the same!
