Default What does the green wire mod on a trx450er do?

I have a 2007 trx450er and I was told that cutting a green wire under the front plastics would help my performance. But what exactly will it do for the performance (top end, or bottom end or will it only eliminate the rev limiter) thank to anyone who could answer this for me!

It gooses your rev limit by 1000 rpm.

It increases the power curve allowing for higher rpm's. If I'm not mistaken it helps on only on the stock cdi.

no...it doesnt touch the power curve. Really the only way you will see gains with this mod is if you have done or will do a more agressive cam. Otherwise the extra 1000 rpm's means nothing because the engine has ceased to make much power before the stock limiter kicks in anyway.
