I recently got an 1996 trx350. once i got it started it did go in reverse but now it will not! any ideas what to check to get my reverse back?

 

I'm sure you know about the reverse button on the left brake handle since you had it in reverse before so check the other end of the cable on the rear of the engine to see if the lever in moving. Move the lever by hand and see if you have reverse. There is an adjustment on the cable near the handlebars. The cable may be streched and the lever not moving enough to allow you to shift into reverse.
