I go to start my quad and it wont start the sceen flashes and the electric shifter wont work. So i pull start it and while its running i try to shift it again and nothing. So i got the foot shifter out and it will shift and ride fine. and also the oil temp stays on. Anyone have any ideas, any fuses or relays? Thanks

I had the same problem with by 2001 450ES about 5 years ago. It needs some kind of switch. Apparently it is a common problem with the electric shift.

Count how many times it flashes and that will tell you what the problem is. could be angle sensor or maybe even your shift motor came un plugged

It could also be low voltage or a poor connection.
