on my 400ex can you put a speedometer on it?, has any one put one on? if so how hard was the install? last on this who makes one and how much?
... now on the exhaust question, instead of a 3 or 4 hundred dollar muffler, i saw on e bay, they call it a performance or power tip it just replaces the end of the stock muffler making the exit hole larger, i'm just looking to gain some sound over the stock sound...thanks

 

I haven't done one on that particular machine, but Trail Tech makes spedometers for various off road machines (including the 400ex). Works well, easy to install.

The little power tip thing does make a notable difference on the Rincon, don't know about the 400 ex.

 

I installed the Trail Tech Vapor on my manual shift 420. Best investment I made. Includes speed, clock, ride time, distance and keeps track of milage and hours for a more accurate oil change time. Great people to work with. Easy to install with matching couplers.

 

well today i put the power tip on my sons 400ex, i realy like the way it sounds. i have a slip on drd muffler on my 400ex , but the power tip sounds better, best $45 spent. i almost want to get a stock muffler and get the same tip and switch out my drd .
