Exclamation 87 trx 250r clutch

hey i was riding this weekend and my clutch went out. i havnt gotten the chance to take her apart yet and fix it. does anyone have a general idea what is wrong. i think i just need new plates but not sure yet. i can start out just fine and ride but if i give the throttle a little bit the engine just winds up and i dont accelerate. any answers?

Yes new clutch plates are in order, easy fix, will cost around 70-80 bucks and take maybe 2 hours . You can save alot of money by ordering your clutch plates, clutch springs ans side cover gasket from cyclepartsnation.com, hope this helps you.
