Hello all, I have a 2002 450fe Foreman and i am having a couple of issues. I have no shift number display on combination meter,nothing,no flashing -- -- ,no N ,1,2,3,4,5 - but the speedo does read except it reads abnormally high !! it says it is going 85 mph in 5th gear. I am thinking the speed sensor is bad but it tests out good.The other problem it has intermittintly,you can shift it up to 5th gear and then it will not downshift,you have to stop machine ,shut it off then restart and it works fine for a few days. Anybody run into these symptoms ?? Any ideas ???

 

Well , I replaced speed sensor and it cured the machine from locking in 5 th gear and replaced the speedometer (combination meter) and that fixed the no shift display problem.
