trx 450 vs ds650

Default trx 450 vs ds650

hi guys im new to this honda section. i do post alot in the can am section as i do have a ds650.im in the hunt for a 2007 trx 450.just never rode one.how does the trx compare to the ds650?wich is faster?has better handling?my ds is pretty tuned.so i dont wanna be dissapointed with the trx.any help would be appreciated thanks!!!

Totally different machines. The DS is more of a dune machine in my opinion. The DS is heavier and wider therefor more stable at high speed where the TRX is light and nimble but lacking for high speed stability.

Powerwise they would be similar, but the DS is lower rev'ing and torquey while the TRX is more high strung and likes to have its neck wrung.

If you do trail riding, I would say the DS would be more reliable powerplant as the TRX is very high performance. This is just my opinion.

If you want to race, the TRX is the way to go.
