hello new to atvs, and have a simple question. Honda recently running after 1 to 1 1/2 years sitting, and i have oil blowing in from the breather tube on the air cleaner box in to the air cleaner box. Is this normal and how much is normal if so. I notice the oil is getting into the carb , but I cant see where it is making it run different ? Any experience with this please reply thanks .

No, that wouldn't be normal.

Has the machine been tipped up recently? I'd also wonder about the oil level.

To get an accurate reading on these, it needs to idle for 4 minutes or so, then sit for a few minutes. Set the dipstick on the threads without screwing it in to take a reading.

thanks the unit has 54 hours on it , the only tipping was to get it up ramps in a truck and down the ramps. I had to soak the carb to get it to run. once put back together i started th atv and noticed the oil blowing in the air box. I need to check the oil level then cause it did seem a little high on the dipstick.

Sounds like to much oil is in the ATV. Drain a little out, better yet do a oil change.
