LRD vs Curtis Sparks

I assume this is for a 400ex so thats how i will treat it. I have the sparks x6 full race pipe. This thing is sweet. Ceramic coated header and aluminum silencer. This pipe is loud but its a likeable loud, like the sound of a drag car. The pipe is really light compared to stock. MY pipe added power through out the power range. The bottom pulls harder than any other 4 stroke pipe ive raced against on a piped bike(no engine mods). The middle is strong and the top is higher also. If you get the the sparks pipe. they will suggest you get the x4 and then buy a x6 if you decide to do engine mods. If you buy a sparks, get the x6 right off. They send jets too. a 45 pilot and 152 main.

Im not sure on the prices any more but they are posted at sparksracing.com. The price is well worth it. This pipe is loud espesially at full bore wot. They will usually throw the jets in for free. You can get it with out the jets. I ordered a few things when i got mine so i got my jets for free. Youll have to check. If you do get the sparks, try the jetting with the stock needle jet firts before you change to the 45. In ohio, the 45 is too rich.

I think the LRD pipe is 425 complete and like 300 for slip on. The TC pipe is suppost to be really good too. TC recommends keeping the stock header. Nacsracing.com they sell LRD and do does trinity. IF you don't plan on riding in national parks go full flow without sa. The only time you ex will shoot fire is when it back fires and you jetting is unbelievily rich. The flame is only 3 or so inches long. The only way youll start a fire is it you are shooting flaming packing out of the exhaust.
