I've got a recently purchased 1977 FL250 but instead of a magneto it has a CDI unit. The transmission is original, but we think the engine was swapped out for the 350. It has a CDI unit that doesn't appear to be giving spark, but I'm not 100% where to start testing, as I'm not sure what all has been swapped. Can someone point me where to look for what?

 

All I can tell you is what I learned about CDI's and that is "If everything else tests good, the CDI is bad." And that is because CDI's are not testable. Even my manual says that. Granted, I don't have a manual for a 77 Odyssey, but it may be the same instructions.
