I think the 6-ply is what I'll get even though they were designed for the heavier SidexSides and larger 2-up ATVs. I'm sure with the stiffer sidewalls and 6-ply they won’t ride or handle quite as good as the regular ACTs.

My friend has all kinds of tires so the more I ruin the more different tires I get to try.

He did offer to let me ride a trail and come in and change to Big Horns and go right back out on the same trail so I could see the difference immediately but I never got the chance.

 

I remember talking to a friend who's been around contruction equipment for a long time; he was telling me that a lot of the larger construction companys are filling the tires up on the big tractors, with some stuff from Dupont. I guess this stuff turns to a firm gel inside the tire, in place of the air; and it will outlast the tire and the tire never goes flat.
I wonder if there is something similar to that for smaller tires, etc.. That would be the way to go; as long as the tires don't become "hard as a rock".

 

I think weight would be a concern too.
