Default Clutch switch on 300 ex

I have a 96 Honda 300 EX and I was going to change the stock clutch assembly to a quick adjust aftermarket one,and I noticed two wires on the clutch attached to a switch on the oem one,how do I bypass them?, and do I need them.It currently doesn't run at all,my wiring seems all good connections are good,it was running,I was thinking ignition coil because it stopped getting spark,it was running now nothing.Or handle bar switch or worst case the stator, idk though, any ideas. It has a new battery too.
