Default 2008 Rincon 680, question about EPS availability

Hello guys, A friend asked me to come to the Honda side and find out some info for him (I`m usually on the Polaris side) anyhow here the store, last year a friend of mind backed his golf cart off a 18ft mezzanine onto a concrete floor he was lucky he wasn`t killed although he crushed his arm so bad the bone specialist couldn`t identify some bone pieces so now he has a limp arm.
He was told when he bought the quad from the dealer that he could have power steering added to it at a later point if he wanted. Well he went back and asked for it to be added and the dealer didnt know what my friend was talking about. Does anyone know if this is an option for a 2008 Rincon 680es and if it is do you know the part number for the kit??? Id really like my friend to be able to go on rides and enjoy the sport as he should. Thanks in advance Randy.

Buy the time and money you spend converting it , you might as well sell it and buy a ATV already equipped with it.

This quad that my friend has has about 15 hours on it so to sell it and get another would end up costing much more than just adding power steering. My friend isn`t hurting as far as money goes he just wants to add the steering to the quad he has. His rincon just went in for the first scheduled maintenance work this week.
Is there a kit available on the market for his quad?

No, I don't believe there is. Unfortunately I think the sales guy gave him some bad information.

You might ask at Rinconriders.com. If anyone there has ever done it, it would likely be written up there.

Maybe your friend should have a chat with the dealer who sold him the machine... They might give him a deal on trading it in to make it right.

Looking at IRS 4v4 machines in the same displacement class, the Griz might be a good choice.

when my fried got his machine he was with his brother and they bought 2 rincons and payed cash that day. the dealer told them that power steering could be added at a later date if they wanted it. this week they both drought there machines in for service the brothers quad has been ridden a fair bit and the dealer charged them like $700. my friend was under the impression that the first service was free but had to pay for it. nether 1 of the brothers will go back to this dealership. when they had nearly 17k cash in there hand the dealer promised them the world and it turns out the dealer was just after there $$$$$ and could care less about them now.
I did hear from another friend that they were looking to sell there quads and are thinking about getting RZR`s

Nothing worse than a shady dealer....makes the brand look bad and dealers in general.. I have such a hard time trusting any dealer at all for anything.. its a real pain in the *** having to worry if your dealer is screwing you all the time.. Good luck dood..
