If I had to take an educated guess I would say around 65mph stock, depending upon gearing and mods it will be different of course.

You bigger boys really need to go with a bigger powerplant IMO...I'm 220lbs and have ridden bikes/atvs for 40 years. Although a 400ex will initially seem fast and all-powerful, after you get some experience riding you will probably find that it needs power upgrades to get your weight up steeper hills, etc.
For trail riding with a 2wd, the Raptor 700 is awesome...fuel injected, reverse, water-cooled, easy upgrades, plenty of power for almost anything you will throw at it.

I don't mean this as arrogant, but I've been riding for 20+ years on all types of quads and bikes, including racing, and a 400 has plenty of power for anything but wide open areas like desert or dunes. I'm 6'-3" and 200lbs. as well.

For $3000, and riding trails with some jumps, a 400ex or Z400 is a perfect fit. I personally like the Z400 a little more for performance, but for your size a 400ex is more torqey and a little more reliable. You can find great deals right now, the market is crap for a seller.

I would agree with this it also depends on the type of trails in you area if there tight and technical I would look to the 400ex first before a ltz400. The ex torque is better and z's like to run at higher rpms and don't respond as well when going slow. If your gonna be in wide open trails where you can hammer it the whole time I might consider the z's. But in tight technical sections the 400ex will out perform alot of machines. Not to mention the reliability was a big factor for me buying one too. My friend has a ltz 400 and he has a hard time keeping it running seems like little things here and there keep him workin on it constantly but when it is it can fly but its bored 80 over according to him. Like mentioned by someone else i never had to walk out of the woods cuz my ex broke down either.
