Default Tire advice needed

These two rear tires are like nearly new.

They only had them on a little while then 'abandoned' the Honda. Been sitting bout 2 years.
They are dry rotted I guess. Where they sat flat for so long, there are creases.
My son took one to a tireshop, Gateway, and they said they were too cracked to tube.
Something about the tube would get caught in one of the cracks and just bust.
I wondered if it was just a sales pitch to sell him new ones.
Should I just abandon the idea of tubing these and find some more? Just bothers me cause the tread is obviously so good.
Thanks!
Mark

The problem with used atv tires sometimes rotted tires will fly apart when trying to bead on factory wheel, cause have to put alot of air pressure to get beaded over beadlock...IMO. I have had used atv tire fly apart an aint no fun.....

Seems like it would take more than 2 years to dry rot a tire.

Id tube em and use em.....they dont look (from here) bad enough to come apart. Ive used worse.

Take them to another shop.....worse case scenario set it outside when your seating the bead.....if it blows no big deal.
